Grief Guidance

A Step At A Time

Picture
Whether you have experienced the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, or the death of a beloved pet, all these events create a feeling of loss, sadness, grief.   We cannot deny that our loss, in whatever form it takes, has changed our life.  Often we feel alone and that others don't understand what we are going through.

While everyone experiences grief in their own way and their own time, everyone's experience is different and very personal.  Each will mourn in their own way; some people seem to 'get over' their loss quickly, while others seem to never 'get over it'.  Each instance leaves friends and family wondering if those who get over it quickly are just denying their emotions and if those who can't seem to get over it are so grief stricken that they cannot see anything else but their loss.

Grief is the label we attach to our sense of loss; yet in reality, grief is a multitude of emotions wrapped tightly
together into a single thought.   Grief encompasses the pain, guilt, regret, heartache, bitterness, sorrow, and loss we experience. Time does not always bring healing; often we must find a way to heal in order to begin to move towards closure, peace, love, forgiveness and joy.

Life continues on; and it should be one of joy and purpose.  Finding a way to heal grief, sorrow and loss means finding a way back to the joy of living.

Together we will explore grief from a different perspective.  Our purpose is to guide you gently through a unique process to assist you in releasing the grief you carry.  Offering intriguing concepts and gentle techniques to allow you to open yourself up to moving towards living a joyful life again.
